Let's be honest, we've all had trouble getting motivated when it comes to writing, especially myself. I really liked his video. It's very personal, he gives lots of his own life experiences to explain how he stays motivated. He also explains that sometimes life gets in the way and that's okay. It's perfectly NORMAL. All in all, he gives great advice and it's incredibly easy to follow. Well, done sir.

Motivation
As I was searching for a video on Youtube for videos related to writing I came across a writer named B.T. Robertson. He's a published author who is not well known. He has his own Youtube channel and posts videos of himself giving advice to other writers. The video I chose is titled Motivation:

Meg Cabot
I took the opportunity this week to check out Meg Cabot's official Facebook page. Meg Cabot has been one of my favorite authors for years. Upon entering her page, I first realized that I hadn't even "liked" it yet so I promptly hit the "like" button then continued on in my examination of her page.
Next thing I noticed was that she posts a lot. Sometimes more than one post a day. She also has several (more than 50) comments on each of her posts. So she has built up quite a camaraderie with her fans. I also noticed that many of her posts aren't even about writing. She'll talk about what she's watching on TV or she even posted a video of a kid announcing the weather on a news station. She does have posts about writing too. She had a writing contest for Valentine's Day.
All in all, her Facebook page is perfect. She gets her fans involved, she doesn't have her books all over her page, and she makes an "appearance" every day. The page is about her. Not about her work, just her. It shows a lot about her and I like her even more as a person after seeing her page.

Well hello there.
My name is Tauni Lyn and I am a writer. I am in love with writing fantasy and science fiction. There's not much that I hate about writing, but I do have to say I hate writing about myself. So I will try and make this as quick (and painless) as possible.
Currently, I am an online student at Southern New Hampshire University. I absolutely love it. However, I love even more the fact that I am almost finished with my Bachelor's Degree! I will be receiving my degree in Creative Writing and English at the end of this month! I hope to one day become a Book Editor and a famous author, but for now I might be doing some content writing for a new company my Dad is creating.
At the moment I work at a large resort hotel chain in the giftshop. I have a crazy manager that I try to deal with, but the actual work is quite enjoyable. I recently moved back in with my parents to save up money for a car. It's been a little over a week and I might be beginning to regret the decision, but it's still early so we'll see how it goes.
As for writing, I have three different books I am currently working on. I am very excited about each one and I think they will each hold their own. My life-long dream is to have a book I've written and published be turned into a movie. I'm hoping at least one, if not all, will achieve that.
Okay, that's enough about me. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
